"Takeout" - NFS

"Takeout"
6"X6" oil on canvas panel

Continuing the red theme, when I put this takeout container down next to a red napkin, I wondered what would complete the composition. The chopsticks were perfect. Can you tell what was in the takeout box?

  2. I can't wait to see it. I was thinking when I did this that you have said how fun it is to paint white things, because of all the colors you can use. I'll bet yours will be fabulous!

  4. What a fun painting! I use a lot of red in my paintings and I love how you used the color variation for the light and shades around the container. The container looks perfect!

  5. Love the grain of rice as evidence. Also love the deep color. And: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIS!

  6. Ann, well you know I wouldn't have been eating it if it wasn't good!

Joelle, you are the red maven, so that is a compliment! Glad you like it.

And good job, Kay for catching the small grain of rice. It was suggested by my friend Michael.
